Devotional Message:
Wisdom cries out at every crossroads of life—calling, beckoning us to walk the way of truth, purity, and joyful freedom. “Come and learn from Me,” Wisdom says in Proverbs 8, “for whoever finds Me finds life and wins approval from the Lord.”
This life, this approval, isn’t earned by striving or self-effort. Romans 7 reveals the tension of the “Romans 7 man”—one who knows the law is holy but cannot live it out in his own strength. Yet the moment we turn from striving and surrender to the indwelling Spirit of Christ, the old self dies, and the new creation rises, radiant and alive in His grace.
Like a bride in the Song of Solomon, we are wooed by Love Himself. Jesus—the Bridegroom King—calls us out from shame, performance, and fear. He whispers, “You are altogether beautiful, My darling; there is no flaw in you.” His words silence accusation and awaken worship.
Psalm 98 bursts with that worship: “So go ahead—sing your brand-new song to the Lord! For He has done marvelous miracles!” Joy isn’t just an emotion; it’s Heaven’s sound on Earth. It’s what happens when redemption is louder than condemnation, when Heaven’s laughter overtakes the echoes of guilt.
Even in Numbers 4–5, amidst the careful instructions of priestly service, we see shadows of Christ’s completed work. The priests carried the holy things carefully, covered by blue cloth—blue, the color of Heaven. Today, you and I are that royal priesthood, carrying Heaven within us. We are walking altars of love—Heaven invading Earth through yielded hearts.
And in that same Spirit, we lift our brothers and sisters in Bhutan, where believers risk their safety to worship Jesus. Many are ostracized by family, face imprisonment, or are forbidden from gathering publicly. Yet they shine with the quiet joy of those who know the One who set them free. Pray that Bhutanese believers will live fully in their new identity in Christ—free and joyful. Ask God to raise up bold leaders whose lives are walking testimonies of love. And may dreams, visions, and angelic visitations open hearts to Jesus in places where His name has not yet been spoken.
As we intercede for them, let us also pray for our own nation—the United States of America. May we awaken again to righteousness, to unity, to the joy of the Lord that breaks every chain of division and despair.
Beloved, Heaven is near. The song of the redeemed is rising, and all creation joins in—“Let the rivers clap their hands with glee, and the mountains sing their songs of joy” (Psalm 98:8 TPT). The Kingdom of God is not a distant dream but a living reality: Heaven is invading Earth through you.
A Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for calling us into Your radiant love. Thank You for freeing us from the struggle of trying to please You through our own strength. Today we receive Your JOY as our strength and Your Spirit as our guide. Let Your wisdom lead us in every decision.
We pray for the believers in Bhutan—may they be strong and courageous, filled with Your joy and glory. Protect them with angelic covering and fill their land with Your presence. We also pray for our own nation, America. Revive us, Lord. Let the fire of Your Spirit sweep across our land, awakening hearts to Your love and grace.
May Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen.
